Camp DuRoss and a wedding!

We had another awesome opportunity to spend some time in Idaho for Camp DuRoss.  This time we had to cut our trip short by a few days, and every clan was not present, but we still managed to fit in a lot of adventures, smiles, laughter, tea, and connection.

So, one day we came back from being out all day to find a few windows and a door broken into...by an animal...a bear more specifically.  I felt like goldilocks!  It was in my bed!  It was quite the craziness to know that we likely scared this bear away when we got home, and while we were out it roamed around almost all of the rooms downstairs.  A camera was installed after this, and they did see another bear and a mountain lion, but not for a while.  No food reward this time, which was good for us and good for Mr Bear.

The boat was a total hit this year!  The kids could have ridden in that tube around the lake all day.  Good times.

Nana and Papa took the kids for a day, which was AMAZING....for all of us.  The kids checked out a cool waterfall, saw a really interesting IMAX movie about bears (they were the theme this year), had lunch, got special little stuffies, and fun singing in the car with Nana and Papa.  Chip and I took advantage and summited Table Mt, went out to lunch, and took naps.  Oh man, how restful one day can be!

The treasure hunt lives on!

The reason we had to leave Idaho a little early is because Mike Amato got married in Steamboat!  We were not missing that!  So, took a day to drive up the Boat, got to see Aunt Mindy again, played some kickball with everyone, and enjoyed a beautiful day celebrating their marriage.  It was awesome.

Oh, and we tubed the river!!  I have been wanting to do this for years!  It was the perfect summer afternoon activity.

These pictures are so out of order, but oh well.  I think you get the idea of the story.  :)
