November

I got a little crafty on the back deck.  Thanks to Hope for the inspiration.  I am in love with my new bar made out of two pallets and a 100 year old piece of barn wood.

November brought snow. Yeah!

So, why not go for a hike!

I shouldn't post pictures of my son's bum, but in a few years I REALLY can't do this, and I couldn't resist.  He was getting himself dressed after swimming and this just shows you what his favorite pieces of clothing are. Ha!

Ruby and Owen love helping in the kitchen.  Here they are cutting potatoes that we will then stir fry.  Thanks for the help, guys!

And, oh yeah, Owen was in ski boots the whole time...for the whole month of November!

I mean, why take your gloves or goggles off to paint?

Here they are walking to a play date...you guessed it...in their ski boots.

A hike on dirt? Ski boots.

Trip to the park? Ski boots.

Oh, finally a little more snow to make all that ski boot wearing a little more appropriate.

Ruby's favorite item of clothing can also be her hat. :)

Summit Park kids- desperate for winter to begin!  Sledding on dirt.

Snow angels in very little snow packed down already- almost dirt.

The first snow man of the season at a play date after we were blessed with a little more snow.

Ahh yes, Thanksgiving.  My favorite part of November.  Started with a neighborhood sled run and then off to Pam and Justin's for dinner.

Owen decided he liked Simon's door better than the one intended for him.

Thumbs up for delicious dinner!  Nice work Wilshines!

Fun to see Carl, Kelly, Nana, and Papa too.

Feather headdresses made at school.

More sledding.  Pam had an epic wipe out on this run.  I need to post the video.  Uhh- she just had back surgery not that long ago.  All is well that ends well.

First day on the slopes.

Ruby and one of her favorite ski buddies, Greta.  She make the most amazing turns following this girl.  I told Greta I would pay her to ski with us all the time.  Seriously.

So glad we all have passes at the same place this year!! Sure to be lots more fun!
