Let's get the 2016 party started

Well, the end of 2015 was a little chaotic.  Despite still dealing with illness, we were happy to welcome 2016 and the prospect of calmer waters.  Ruby and Owen, while missing the crestview house, also have loved the new place and seem to be growing into wanting more responsibilities.  Owen has fed Kessler for the last month pretty much on his own with only reminders from Kessler herself (with barking), and here, Ruby is trying her hand at washing dishes.

They also got to try a night of sleeping in the same to get ready for a visit later in the month.

Owen spends at least 30% of his time upside down these days.  No joke.  The kid needs to get into some break dancing or gymnastics classes.

Colorado DuRoss' visited!  We finally got a sledding run in BTH.  Good times were had by all despite Chip and Chris spending a large part of Saturday on our roof trying to get to the bottom of a leak being caused by an ice damn.

We had a fun gathering so all the peeps could say hello to DuRoss'.

Look at all these kids.  We have all known each other since pre kids, and hope to still be hanging out post kids. :)

January 17th was my dad's birthday.  He would have been 75.  We wanted to honor his day with skiing since that was the thing we all shared most strongly in common.  Dad had to work so the three of us decided to get on our cross country gear for a (very short) ski.  Bonus- we got to try out our new Camelbacks from Nana and Papa!
