50 miles

Hello Bryce!  Look at this place!  Amazing.  Can't think of a better place....to run 50 miles!

Warm up hike with Nana and Papa on Friday afternoon.  We did the Wall Street Hike.

So glad Nana and Papa were able to join us for this special event!

Race was based out of Ruby's Inn!

Here is the support team waiting for Chip at mile 40...yes, I said, 40!  This is the spot he picked me up.  Nana and Papa hung out with Ruby and Owen for a few hours while we ran to the finish. 

The road out to meet him was unbelievably dusty.

Wait, he doesn't look like he has run 40 miles.  Amazing.

We're done!  Chip finished and rocked this thing!  Congrats! Despite surgery on Wednesday and a lot of IT trouble, he came in 41st out of over 100 people running the 50 mile race.  So inspiring!

 And, after running that many miles, hiking did not sound appealing.  So, we hired horses to take us on a little ride.  We got to go to breakfast with Nana and Papa, and found a geocache near the park too.  This all made for a pretty good Father's Day.

We were trying for a cute Father's Day picture and this is what we got.  Typical. :)
