Long Time Comin....

What up!!  Aurora DuRoss' are in the house!  I adore this part of the DuRoss family and, not only do we not get to see them nearly enough, but most of them have never been to our house in Utah, ever.  And, you know how for people who love their living space, it is like part of your heart is on display in your space.  It becomes sacred, the space we live in.  Anyway, I LOVE sharing our space with people I love.  So, this was exciting to share our town, mountains, and home with this family finally.

We packed it in, as ush.  Went to the alpine amusement park at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Such a great way to spend the day in the mountains when you have three 4-5 year olds in the group.

Rode the alpine slide,

jumped on the bungee jumpers...

Yes, Hope didn't just jump, but was game for trying a back flip with much encouragement from this sista from another mista (aka- me).  I am laughing right now just looking at these pictures.  She didn't  quite make it all the way around the first time.  See below. Ha!!  What a sport! She kept trying and eventually hit it, no problem.  So glad I have this memory.  Love it.

Rode the mountain coaster.

Great selfie.

Took the tram to the top of Hidden Peak.  Even though we can't see their eyes, you can see the wonder in their eyes, don't you think?  I mean, what a wondrous place we got to explore this day.

Pals. :)

Group shot at the top!

The lighting was incredible up here so I am about to inundate you with pictures from this magical spot.  So many memories and feelings have been had on this peak...SO many.  I feel grateful to add this day to them.

Hiked down Chip's run for a bit, went through the tunnel, and took the lift down!  Then, home for pizzas, like a real DuRoss.

Day 2 started with Chip assisting in the...yup, you guessed it!  Face painting!

A butterfly, a horse, and a...dino?

Rented tag-a-longs and rode around Park City.  This is us at the top of our climb and Main St...

and then at the bottom.  Stopped for a cow cookie half way down.  Can't believe I didn't get a picture of THAT.  Oh well, we have seen enough pictures of that that even if you have never been here, you can probably visualize it. ;)

All in for buying our own tag-a-longs!  (Hope and derek delivered on this one the day they got home!)

Yeah sure, this will work.  Ruby and Mercy, can you manage that other one on your own?  Great.  Perfect.

Lunch in town, home for play/hang, and then to Newpark for live music.  Tomorrow...Idaho!  Thanks Aurora DuRoss for an awesome pre Camp DuRoss warm up visit.  We had a blast!
