4th of July was full of community events this year. First, on the 3rd we with friends and family before heading to the Canyons for their fireworks display. This is a picture of most of us (Chris, Erika, and Nola got bumped off our crowded car at the last moment!) riding the cabriolet up to the chaos.
Ruby and Owen loved the fireworks. And, they were so keyed up they didn't even fall asleep on the way home despite it taking us about 30min to get out of the parking lot afterwards. They didn't go to bed until almost 11pm! That is a record!
Next, pancake breakfast in City Park and the parade out on Main St.
BBQ again- at our house this time. Cheesy slaw dogs were the featured entre. This is a family tradition of the Kirby's. They were delicious and so were all the amazing sides that everyone brought to share.

Jess' pie cone. A brilliant combination of berry pie IN the cone with ice cream below and on top. A untensiless option for pie and ice cream cone lovers alike.
