Ohio

Ahhh...home. In some ways, our visits home have changed a lot. And still, there is this deep and familiar comfort that overcomes me every time the plane lands in Cleveland. The lush grass and trees, quaint Chagrin Falls, quiet starry nights, and nostalgic memories around every corner.

This relaxed long weekend in Ohio was filled with a trip to the zoo, lots of great food, a house hunt for Derek and Hope (and Chip and Audrey in the future??), lots of great food, games of memory and coloring with the kiddos, lots of great food, picture and story sharing, and of course, lots of great food (especially Yours Truly).
Thanks for a great visit, Eastern Clan!

I will take your word for it that Chagrin Falls will be your next new home though!!! I am sure 94 Hall Street will be available in about 2 1/2 years (that lady looked old!!!). I know we can put a couple pounds on ya both ~ we LOVE the food! Selah & Judah miss you guys already and if you can believe it ~ some of the ball is still lit!!

Love ya, love ya, love ya,

Yes, you are making us cry! We so appreciate that you used your very limited time for travel and play to come and spend time with us. We loved every minute and do miss you already. I think we delayed your foot-healing progress, Audrey, but hope you can rest it a bit more now that you are back.
The picture of Selah in the back is worthy of a frame for sure!

love,
mom and dad
ps -loved the clan quote!!

You guys are awesome...We had a stupendsome time!

Ok...To help all of us sleep better at night:

WHY DON'T PEOPLE RIDE DONKEY'S LIKE HORSES:

"They are not easily tamed. Horses have been bred over thousands of years to be domesticated; they've been selectively bred based (at least partly) on their temperment.

It's like the difference between dogs and wolves. Wolves are not exactly recommended for pets because they are just much more wild. But they are the domesticated dog's wilder cousin.

Zebras, although not technically horses, are part of the Equus species. Zebras CAN mate with horses (the result is called a zorse, or some people spell it zhorse.) Some people are actually breeding zorses as a novelty, for the stripes."

Love you guys!
